Sunday: Alexandria Blizzard 7 v. El Paso Rhinos 2 – El Paso Rhinos face off against the Alexandria Blizzard today in the first of the NA3HL Showcase games! The Blizzard takes initiative with a goal straight out of the gate with a goal at just 15 seconds into the game. Nick Jones ties up the score at 1-1 for the Rhinos with one goal before the period is out and we head into the second at a tie. Alexandria keeps the momentum going in the second period, taking four more goals over the course of the period. As the second comes to a close Rocco Romita takes one more goal for the Rhinos and we’d see a 5-2 lead going into the third period. Unfortunately for the Rhinos, the Blizzard takes two more goals to end off the match with a 7-2 lead.
