Rhinos Come Back to Beat RoadRunners

After a scoreless first period resulted in a two goal deficit for the Rhinos, El Paso’s offense used period two to even the game.

The RoadRunners scored first in the second frame, But Erramouspe, Cole Schneider, and Wyatt Allan scored three straight goals to tie the game at three. RoadRunner Mason Evans gave the College Station team the lead once more, but at 17:08, Rhino forward John Mulvihill evened the game at four.

During the third period, El Paso’s defense stifled the RoadRunners while Jake Robinson and Cole Schneider tallied the last two goals of the game. With El Paso’s 6-4 come-from-behind win, their record improves to 5-1-1-1 and they remain fourth in the South Division. The series wraps up tomorrow with a game-two matinee at 10:30 am (MT) on Monday.
