Austin Ice Bats 2 @ El Paso Rhinos 9 – Rhinos take the victory over the Ice Bats in their first bout of the series 9-2.
Rhinos come out of the gate swinging this game with three goals in the first period courtesy of Caden Butler, Noah Easterson, & Matthew Gross. Ice Bats only managing to score a single point this period set the score at 3-1, Rhinos out in front.
Noah Easterson and Connor Thompson take two more in the second, Rhinos only allowing one more goal by the Ice bats. The second period wrapped up with the score at 5-2.
The third period was all Rhinos as our boys scored four more goals. Dylan Thompson scores early in the period while Riley Hunt-Bahn scores three goals for himself as the game nears its end.
The Rhinos end the game with a whopping 9-2 lead over the Ice Bats.
