Louisiana Drillers 0 @ El Paso Rhinos 6 – Rhinos return to the ice for their second game of the series defeating the Louisiana Drillers in a shutout 6-0.
Tonight’s game saw the El Paso Rhinos taking the early lead once more, scoring three goals in the first period. Caden Butler brings us our first goal of the night followed by Colin Clough and Matthew Gross, bringing us to the first intermission with Rhinos leading 3-0.
Second period brought with it three more goals for the Rhinos. Clough bags his second goal of the night, Connor Thompson and Payne Pent scoring their own in the latter half. No scoring in the third period finalized the score at 6-0, Rhinos on top.
Peyton Brendel steals the spotlight tonight with a complete shutout as the Drillers failed to score once with 48 total shots on goal.
