Austin Ice Bats 2 @ El Paso Rhinos 12 – Rhinos emerge victorious once more over the Austin Ice Bats 12-2
Rhinos take hold of the early game in the first period starting with three goals on the board before the 5-minute mark. Austin ends this streak with one goal seven minutes in, with Rhinos returning to score once more towards the later portion of the period. Austin sneaks in one last goal before the period ends, leaving the score 4-2, Rhinos leading as we head into the second.
The second period was all Rhinos as Tristen Elmhurst, Reno Parker, and Zachary ware all scoring. Ware tallies up two goals for himself this period, bringing his game total to three after having scored one in the first.
Rhinos take off yet again in the 3rd period with four more goals from Jaxon Penner, Caden Butler, Jack Olson and Sebe Perez.
This won’t be the last meeting this season for the two teams as next week Rhinos will hit the road to take on the Ice Bats on their home turf for two more games!
