Austin Ice Bats 3 @ El Paso Rhinos 8 – Rhinos emerge victorious over the Austin Ice Bats 8-3
The El Paso Rhinos take the first game of the series against the Austin Ice Bats tonight in the first game of 2022!
Ice Bats started the game by taking the first goal halfway through the first period which is answered in kind by Jack Olson. bringing the game to a 1-1 tie by the 16-Minute mark. Colin Clough following shortly after with an insurance goal taking us into the second with the score 2-1, Rhinos leading.
Clough tallies up another score for the Rhinos, starting off the second period with yet another goal followed with more goals by Dani Ceullar, one more from Jack Olson, and Ethan Marcola wrapping up. The Ice Bats, not quite out of the game, come back in the latter half of the second period to score two more goals, bringing the score to 6-3 at the end of the second.
The final period saw the Rhinos taking two more goals courtesy of Caden Butler and Jack Olson, who ends the game with three goals under his belt.
