Friday: El Paso Rhinos 3 @ Atlanta Capitals 0 – We’re off to Georgia this week as we face off against the Atlanta Capitals! Rhinos take the early lead with a goal midway through the first, and head into the second with a 1-0 lead. Regnars Jasons increases our lead to 2-0 before the period is out and Rhinos maintain their game-long lead. With one final goal from Bryan Wood in the third, Rhinos walk away from Game #1 with a 3-0 victory.
Saturday: El Paso Rhinos 4 @ Atlanta Capitals 0 – Rhinos & Capitals take to the ice again as we begin game #2. Jake Sherry puts Rhinos on the board first tonight with one goal in the first. Nick Jones and William Clark both take a goal each in the second where the Rhinos increase the gap over the Capitals and we’d see a 3-0 lead moving into the third. Bruce Hang rounds out the score with one final goal where Rhinos earn a 4-0 win over the Capitals for game #2
Sunday: El Paso Rhinos 5 @ Atlanta Capitals 1 – Game #3 is afoot and Rhinos aim for a full sweep! Michael Sobaski starts us off tonight and takes the lead with a goal in the last five minutes of the first. Joseph Gutierrez earns himself a goal of his own with a goal right out the gate in the second for a 2-0 lead as we prepare for the third. Capitals are final on the board in the third as Nick Refine cuts the lead in half and we’d be temporarily at 2-1 before Nick Jones takes back a 2 point lead for the Rhinos. Kowalchuk & Wood take two more goals and Rhinos take a 5-1 victory and sweep for game #3
