Rhinos sweep Brahmas 4-3 in Game 3

Friday: El Paso Rhinos 2 @ Texas Brahmas 1 – The El Paso Rhinos take to the road this week for the start of a three game series against the Texas Brahmas. We start the game relatively slow with no scoring until Michael Imala scores the first and only goal of the period for the Brahmas. The Rhinos would come back to tie the Brahmas as Theo Jakobsson puts the Rhinos on the board at 7:42 into the second period. The score would sit at an even 1-1 for the rest of the game pushing us into Overtime. At just one minute into OT Payne Pent takes a shot on goal with a score to put the Rhinos on top, taking Game 1 with a 2-1 lead over the Brahmas.

Saturday: El Paso Rhinos 3 @ Texas Brahmas 2 – Rhinos & Brahmas return once more for Game 2 of the series Saturday night with the Brahmas looking for revenge. The night began with an early goal from the Brahmas’ Aaron Best. Rhinos would clap back later as Liam Sbrocca tied the game at 1-1 to close out the first period. Payne Pent carries this momentum into the second period by scoring in just under three minutes. Noah Easterson would sneak in yet another goal for the Rhinos with just seven seconds left in the period. The Rhinos head into the third period with a 3-1 lead over their opponents, but the Brahmas weren’t prepared to give in. Keegan Mcarthur went on to score one last goal for the Brahmas to end the game with a 3-2 Rhino victory.

Sunday: El Paso Rhinos 4 @ Texas Brahmas 3 – The final game of the series between the El Paso Rhinos and Texas Brahmas concluded today with a Rhinos Sweep. George Keeley would be the first to score tonight for the Brahmas followed not to closely behind by Payne Pent to tie up the game early in the first period. Moving into the second we only have a single goal by the Brahmas’ Michael Imala. Brahmas would go into the third period with a 2-1 lead over the Rhinos. Mike Sobaski went all out to score two goals for the Rhinos in the start of the third period propelling them into a temporary 3-2 lead. Mario Smith brought the game back to a tie at 3-3 for the Brahmas, but this deadlock was not to last. Jackson Price went on to score the game-winning goal at the 14:49 mark,
